FAQs

  • Eating disorder recovery is no easy task and then there is the added layer of figuring out how to pay for it all.

My intention is to create more access to quality individualized care with mindful consideration of each individual’s lived experience and access to resources. I do not want finances to make or break someone getting the care they are looking for. To accomplish this in my own practice I offer prices based on the Green Bottle sliding scale method by Alexis J Cunningfolk as described here.

    Full bottle $185 per session

    Half bottle $135 per session

    Low bottle $85 per session

I trust each person to self evaluate their needs and any additional needs can be discussed in a consultation call.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance companies. However, depending on your current health insurance, it is possible for out-of-network services to be partially covered. Please contact your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits for outpatient medical nutrition therapy services. If you have out-of-network benefits, I am able to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Sessions will be paid at the time of service and the reimbursement from your insurance will be paid directly to you.

It is your responsibility to inquire with your insurance company regarding benefits.

  • I am a “Friend in HEALing” with Project Heal and happy to assist individuals looking for scholarships within the community.

If you have any further questions about my pricing method please feel free to schedule a call for us to chat more about your individual needs!

  • I ask for 24-hour advance notice for appointment cancellations. If an appointment is not canceled in advance, you will still be charged your regular fee for the session.

I recognize that life happens, so if you’re not able to provide notice prior to the 24-hour mark, I give the option to reschedule for the same calendar week with only a 20% charge. This is subject to my availability. If I do not have availability, you will be charged the full fee.

  • Currently, regular session are done virtually via Simple Practice. I do offer in-person activities such as meal experiences and grocery shopping outings tailored to each person’s individual needs. To accommodate for travel and additional expenses, outings are available with an additional 20% charge to your regular session fee.

Feel free to reach out if you are interested in more information!
